Giới thiệu bản thân
As a senior Applied Finance student and conceiving Finance’s potential in Vietnam due to the novelty of many areas, I desire to become a professional Financial Analyst Although. I am seeking an entry-level position as a Financial Analyst and also trying to gain a CFA certificate. I offer good academic results, strong organizational skills, high-qualified communication in English.
I have experience in the educational sector that shares many skills and abilities with finance. I used to be a private tutor for 4 years and recently worked as a Teaching Assistant at ILA Phu My Hung. These jobs require me to deeply understand a particular student’s strengths and weaknesses which will tremendously contribute to my student-oriented teaching approach. Thoroughness is another important feature I was trained while working in the positions as I must work closely with the parents.

Abstract:
This paper aims to investigate the effects of corruption and economic freedom on leverage level across listed firms from various industries in Vietnam throughout the period of 2009-2018. We also examine the joint effect of corruption on corporate leverage under the high economic freedom environment. Our finding leads to the conclusion that corruption alone has a significant positive impact on firm leverage, which is congruent with the majority of previous studies. Moreover, on studying the interaction between corruption and economic freedom, we find that in a country with high levels of market openness and regulatory efficiency, the effect of corruption is less likely to cause positive changes in the level of leverage, except for the case of trade and investment freedom. Since our model is concerned with the impact of macro-level factors, there arises the issue of the correlation between our main variables and the omitted country-level variables, which is resolved by the use of instrumental variables through the 2SLS method. In essence, our findings hold even after adjusting for biases, synchronism as well as potential endogeneity in our macro-micro relationship.01/2021 - 08/2021
